A year ago we set up our new cottage business with the sole intention of providing delicious homemade cakes using only the finest natural ingredients.We wanted to produce cakes that tasted as good as they looked.Far too often we have bought cakes which look wonderful but actually don't taste that good when you bite into them.

Friends kept telling us that we could sell our cakes so now we've taken the plunge.In April 2009 we started with just four flavours.Nearly a year on we have used  twenty and are still looking for new ones.

We only use organic flour , local free range eggs and unrefined sugar in our cakes with absolutely no artificial colours or flavours whatsoever.We use real fruit such as raspberries,strawberries,lemons,gooseberries and damsons along with organic chocolate and freshly brewed espresso coffee to give our cakes a truly authentic flavour.

We bake our cakes in small batches in our farmhouse kitchen and then each cake is individually hand decorated.We use fondant icing , buttercream , chocolate ganache and toffee toppings which are again all homemade. 

During 2009 we have sold at markets, Farmers Markets,Country Fairs and Shows and our produce has been very well received.We have provided cakes and displays for Weddings,Birthdays and other Special Occasions and shall be doing the same again in 2010.Thank you to everyone who has bought our cakes so far and given us such a positive response.We get tremendous pleasure in baking our cakes and it's nice to know that so many of you get similar enjoyment from eating them.
